LV Power was established in year 2000 with the mission to advance “the state of the art” in the power conversion industry.

We have developed and have commercialized the world's highest power and efficiency compact PCI power supply. In addition we have also developed and are now concentrating on commercial implementations of a novel and advanced power conversion topology.

CPCI Power Supply Products

CPCI power supply customer benefits- extended.

Power density- LV Power CPCI supplies have the very highest output power of any CPCI supply on the market 200-400W. This  allows valuable chassis space previously wasted on power supplies, to be converted into money generating functionality.

Low LFM fan requirements- A cooler and quieter system operation is achieved as a result of low waste heat generation, due to high conversion efficiency >85%. System reliability is also enhanced.

Superior system airflow- The two slot front panel connected to a one slot power supply construction creates an open air tunnel. This construction allows for maximum airflow through the system, providing for the very highest cooling possible to a densely packed chassis.

IPMI functionality- The IPMI functionality allows both control over, and monitoring of the key parameters of the supply. Output  current, voltage of every rail, power supply temperature, input voltage, serial number and supply geographical address are all monitored, and the tolerances of the parameters can be set and varied by software control. These features allow the user a true ability to remotely control and monitor the entire system via I²C bus.

Uninterrupted system operation- In the event of a power fail at the input of the supply the supply provides 6Ms of DC full power hold up time. This is more then enough for a UPS backup system to maintain ongoing operation after being informed by the IPMI of a power failure at the input of the supply. Thus uninterrupted system operation is maintained.

Very high MTBF- Due both, to state of the art construction and low waste heat generation provides the user with 216,000 hours MTBF in accordance with Bellcore B33216.
