LV Power's new 350W DC/DC CPCI supply with full IPMI functionality has been approved and deployed after extensive testing by a Fortune 500 company in a major telecom system.  The reason LV Power was chosen was the patented topology that allows 350W of power to be packed in a 3U x 2 slot form factor coupled with the complete implementation of IPMI functionality within the supply.  This allows the outputs relating to the “visual health” of the supply, temperature, currents and voltages to be transmitted to the system microprocessor via I²C while control inputs to the supply (selective turn on/off) can be exercised by the microprocessor from a remote terminal via the same I²C.  We believe that this product fills a void in the CPCI community and will now be utilized by many system integrators.
