LV Power has completed an Alpha version of a 600W AC/DC supply with 92% efficiency at worst case low line and full load 12V output. The unit is the world's highest efficiency supply in this power range. In addition it is the world’s first 600W supply with no cooling fans. All cooling is by convection alone. The Beta version release with minimum worst case 95% efficiency at low line is scheduled for Q3 2007.
