On the 12th of January 2014, the minister for Finance and Domestic affairs in the Government of Greenland, Mr. Vittus Qujaukitsoq visited the Fljótsdalur Power Plant. He wanted to familiarize himself with the Kárahnjúkar-Project and the work Landsvirkjun Power is doing in Greenland.

Landsvirkjun Power is currently working on  a number of projects in Greenland, both in the field of Hydro-power and Power Transmission. In the Hydro-power station in Tasiilaq, Landsvirkjun Power has assisted with maintenance of the plant, including generator and turbine.

During the first year of operation of the new 22,5 MW Ilulissat Hydro-power plant, Landsvirkjun Power provides the technical operating personel.

The transmission projects include  the 132 kV transmission line to Nuuk , the 60 kV transmission line to Sisimiut and the 60 kV transmission lines to Qaqortoq and Narsaq.
